Ok!! For all of you with kids in diapers there is a great deal for walgreen diapers. You can get them for $2.66 a pack. Or if your not confused you could even get them for free! I am going to hit every walgreens I can this week. I am going to stock up for the baby that we are waiting for. I can't explain it as good as others so here it is from another link. afullcup.com
I read this on another site, which would make them FREE!!! Can someone tell me if this will really work? We haven't tried the WAGS brand diapers, but for FREE, I will try anything! Plus I could always donate them if we don't like them! Here is their plan.

On June 29 the new sales ad will start. Walgreens brand Jumbo packages of diapers (both the white and red packages) will be on sale for $5.99 each. In the July Easysaver booklet there will be a coupon in there for $5 off 2 packages of Walgreens diapers. This coupon will automatically
adjust itself and give you 2.50 each package you buy. This booklet will be available in stores starting June 27th.

You also need to go to the pharmacy and ask for a $50 Walgreens savings booklet. These booklets are free to anyone who asks about the newprescription savings plan. You don't have to buy the savings plan justask about it and get the booklet. Many employees don't know where the
booklets are so insist that someone who does know get one for you. They are a white and red booklet that is folded over 3 times and contains various Walgreens coupons for their store brand items. One of the coupons inside that book is for $2 off one package of Walgreens brand
diapers. This coupon automatically scans for $2 off each package you buy.

Both of the above coupons are Walgreens store coupons. You can combine them for the same purchase. All you have to do is present them to the cashier and they both scan fine. Also since both are store coupons the cashier will not need them for their drawer like a regular coupon. She
scans them and you can keep them for future purchases. So hang on to them both! Even though they may say limit one they scan and give you the adjusted amount off for each package you buy.

During the entire month from June 27th until July 28th Walgreens has another deal where you buy any 3 listed products (this deal is advertised in the Easysaver coupon & rebate booklet) you will get a $5 Register Reward Coupon for anything on your next purchase. Walgreens
Jumbo diapers are one of the qualifying products.

So this is how to maximize the deal and get FREE Diapers! Remember for the week of June 29th!

Buy three packages of Walgreens brand Jumbo diapers (white or red package) for $5.99 each on sale. Your total will be $17.97. Give the cashier your Easysaver coupon in the Easysaver booklet for $5 off when you buy two packages. Remember this will give you 2.50 off each package for a total off of $7.50 Your total now will be $10.47. Now give the cashier your $2 coupon that is inside the Pharmacy coupon booklet. This will give you $6 off total. Now your total will be $4.47

You need to pay the $4.47. After you pay you will recieve a coupon from the coupon machine next to the register for $5 off your next purchase of almost anything. This makes the diapers FREE in essence.

This deal is unlimited! But there are a few tricks to get the mostout of it. Do not buy more than 3 packages in one transaction. If you buy 6 packages you will not recieve two $5 Register coupons. So only buy 3 at a time.

Remember to keep your two coupons for each additional purchase you make. The cashiers do not need to keep them since they are store coupons and the register automatically keeps track of how many are used.

When you get your $5 Register coupon DO NOT use it to help pay for your second transaction of more diapers. This will void out you getting another $5 coupon. The only way to get a $5 register coupon for each transaction is to pay with cash, debit, credit or giftcard. Just save all your register coupons.

The pharmacy coupon booklets are available now. So if you want to get that early go ahead. The July Easysaver booklet that has the $5 diaper coupon will not be available until June 27th. The sale price does not start until June 29th. So get yourself together and ready to do this deal for the week of June 29th.

If you got the newspaper today make sure you clip the coupons from the Maceys and Dan's paper for the Coke and Pepsi. They are manufacture coupons and you can use them anywhere. Usually Albertsons run the same sale the next week but it is with your preferred card.

Walmart does match prices but will not take competitor coupon unless they say manufacture on them.

Trial sizes

So this is something that is great to know. When you use coupons it is usually a better deal to get the smaller items. Like with diapers figure out how much each diaper is going to be. It is usually better to buy two jumbo sized instead of the mega pack. Because you can use two coupons instead of one. Just FYI diaper can always be found for about $0.21 if they are cheaper than that stock up! The other thing that is great to buy is trial size things. If the coupon does not say excludes trail size you can use it. Deodorants, toothpaste, sanitizer, Advil, baby lotion etc. My friend Shani actually told me this deal today. At target or probably at any store contact solution was .99 and she printed $1.00 off coupon getting it for free.

Overage!!! IS GOOD!!

Ok, so my internet has been down for two weeks now. It is back up an I am ready to kick off the coupon stuff! So this week is overage! If you buy a travel size product for .97 and you have a coupon for $1.50 off you are making $1.03 overage. The stores will not give you money back. It will go twards the other items that you are buying. Most store will do this. The only one that is picky is Target.

Here is a coupon for post-it notes. If you buy two post-it flags you get $3.00 off. At Walmart they have post-it page makers for .97 and the coupon works for them. So you buy two and your total is $1.94 and you are making $1.06 overage. I do this every time that I go grocery shopping. NO I DO NOT NEED any more post-it notes buy I am making money to go twards my groceries so I get them anyways. give them as gifts or donate them.

This is another great coupon for organic diced tomatoes. They are $1.14 at walmart and this coupon is for $1.00 off. You can't beat that for food storage.

To MEEGZ: I clip all of my coupons each sunday and I don't keep track of what week they come. I tried to do that and it was to confusing for me. I am more a visual person. Do you do a coupons blog also?

Week One!

I am going to try and post at least one deal of the week! If you have specific things that you want me to post let me know (diapers, milk, shampoo etc). Most of the deals are going to be the best if you get the Sunday newspapers each week. The sales usually are good with the coupons from a week or two before.

Buy two Venus embrace razors $9.49 + 9.49=18.98 plus tax
Coupons 2x$2.00 target coupons + 2x$2.00 mfc = -$8.00 =10.98+tax
When you buy two you get a $10.00 Gift card (GC)
So it is like you are paying .98 plus tax


Buy two Fusion razors $7.44+7.44= 14.88 plus tax
Coupons 2x$4.00 mfc = -$8.00 =$6.88
When you buy two you get a $10.00 GC
So you are MAKING +3.12

*You can do this in two transactions and use your first GC on you second transaction.

Start small

Ok Yes I am doing a coupon blog!! I love to coupon and it gets very addicting. Some weeks I will go to the store 10 times and some weeks I will only go once. If there is great deals I just can't pass them up. So I am going to challenge everyone to start small. If you want to save money but can't get into coupons just yet just do one thing PRICE MATCH. Go to pinchingyourpennies.com and go to the grocery guide it has a list of all the stores and all of there adds. You can make your list from there and print it out. It has the prices, sizes of products and the store that it is on sale at. Then you take that to walmart and do your shopping. They will price match any store. If you only do this one thing you will save up to 30% on your monthly grocery bill.
